Rates & Insurance
An initial individual therapy session, which is a full 60 minute assessment, is $160.00.
Ongoing therapy sessions, beyond the first intake assessment, are $135.00 per 50 minute session.
The frequency of sessions are tailored to individual need, although weekly sessions are the most common at the start of our work together.
Types of Payment Accepted
All major credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, cash and/or check are all acceptable forms of payment for services. A valid credit card is kept securely on file and charged after your appointment, unless another payment option has been arranged.
Good Coping Counseling does not accept direct payment from insurance at this time. Please click here to read more information regarding your right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for any services rendered by Good Coping Counseling.
Out of Network Insurance
If you prefer to use your insurance benefits for therapy, you may still be able to do so. As an out-of-network (OON) provider, Good Coping Counseling is able to provide you with weekly Superbills, which are a receipt for the payments you have made for therapy sessions. You may be able to submit this document to your insurance company for direct, sometimes partial, reimbursement of therapy services. Whether or not your insurance company will reimburse you, and how much you may be reimbursed for each session, will depend on your specific plan. Please contact your insurance company directly, for information regarding your eligibility and reimbursement rates for working with an out-of-network provider for behavioral health.
If you are unable to make it to your scheduled session, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Any cancellations made in less than a 24-hour time window, will result in a charge of $95.00.
